目前中文學校有開設幼小班,幼大班,先修班,一到九年級和成人班,一共17個班級,其中一到三年級有A,B二種班級的分別, A班是有中文背景家庭的小朋友, B班是提供給沒有中文背景家庭的小朋友. 兩班成人班, 一班是给初學者, 另一班是给已經學過中文的人, 兩班都是以漢語拼音教學, 教學內容則以實用的會話為主.
雙城中文學校是雙城地區所有中文學校中唯一使用正體字(繁體字)教學的學校.目前學校使用的教材與教科書,一部分是台灣僑委會贈送,另一部分是學校向加州購買”全美中文學校聯合總會”出版的教科書. 六到九年級的學生學漢語拼音,從2008年春季班開始,這四個年級加入電腦教學,使用"IQ Chinese”電腦軟體教材.從2009年春季班開始,一到五年級也加入電腦教學.一學期 $240, 第二個小孩 $220. 成人班一學期 $260 (2013-2014 學年)
語言課上課時間: 星期六上午 9:15 到 11:15 (兩小時) ， 延伸課上課時間: 星期六上午 11:30 到 中午 12:30 (一小時)
Currently, Twin Cities Chinese Language School offers classes at the Pre-school, Kindergarten, Grades 1-9, and Adult levels. There are 17 classes in total. Grades one through three are split into A and B levels depending on a student’s Chinese background. Level A is designed for students whose parents speak Chinese at home, and Level B is designed for students whose parents don’t speak Chinese at home. There are two adult classes, one is for the beginners and the other is for the advanced students. Both classes use pin-yin teaching method.
Twin Cities Chinese Language School is the only school in the twin cities that teaches the traditional Chinese characters with phonetics. The current curriculum and supplementary materials are provided through the Taiwan Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission and purchased from the National Council of Associations of Chinese Language Schools. Pin-yin is taught in Grades six through nine. Starting in the 2008 Spring Semester, these four grade levels will also practice pin-yin entry on computers using the IQ Chinese software. As of the 2009 Spring Semester, the IQ Chinese cirruculum has been extended to include grades 1-5 as well.
One semester: 1st child - $240, 2nd child - $220. Adult class - $260 (2013-2014 school year)
Language class hours: Saturday 9:15 am - 11:15 am (2 hours), Extension Education hours: 11:30 am - 12:30 pm (1 hour)
